She tapped on the Foods & Spices category and quickly jumped to the foods starting with S. Here she selects strawberry.

Add and edit allergens in Allergy Runner with this screen from the iPhone
Nearly complete with this entry for strawberry, Amanda sets the severity level of the allergy and has unlimited room for text notes in many of these fields.

All of the fields are optional and she can add details or additional testing results at any time. When she returns to change the allergen info the old data is automatically saved in the scrolling history section.

The allergen detail view for strawberry includes a scrolling history area. Over time as her sensitivity level changes, as she receives treatment or additional testing the old details will be stored here for easy reference.

She can store up to three photos for each allergen. This feature is a life saver when she captures pictures of her son Billy's various allergic reactions. These photos can help the school nurse evaluate the type of allergen he has been exposed to.

The smart allergen categories are driven by these sliders. By ranking her allergies on a scale of 0 to 10 and tuning these sliders, she can make sure her Safe Food list, Once Per Week Food list, and High Risk Allergen categories are accurate.

These dynamic categories make it very easy to send allergen lists and instructions to people that need the info. Stop struggling to recall and share information about complex allergies! The info is always ready to send from your iPhone and iPod Touch if you use Allergy Runner.
Screen shows the configuration options available when sending emails from Allergy Runner on the iPhone
Allergy Runner can send two emails at the same time, to multiple people. The Journal email covers the specified number of weeks, counting back from today.

The Allergen email includes the emergency contact and doctor contact information that is stored with this PAL. Any number of categories can be selected and two available levels of detail help you customize the email for your audience.
For this Allergen Report email, Amanda has turned off the Full Details switch. Photos will only appear in the High Risk Allergen section (if they exist) and are withheld from the other sections. Non-essential details like Change History and Test Dates will not appear for any allergen. This makes the email smaller and faster.
