Food List
Quickly finding the food incitant you need can take a bit of practice.
You probably realize that foods often have unique regional names. Some foods are commonly misidentified. Yams, Sweet Potatoes, Green Onions and Scallions come to mind. If you don’t find the food using one name, try thinking of the alternate names people might use for it.
Many of our food incitants are grouped by type. The major examples:
Arrowroot
Bass (black, sea)
Bean (black, kidney, soy, etc)
Nut (cashew, hazel, peanut, pine)
Pepper (black, bell, sweet)
Perch (ocean, silver, yellow)
Squash (acorn, butternut)
The foods in the groups above are usually named with the type shown first followed by a comma, like this:
Squash, Acorn
Nut, Pine
There are a few oddballs that you might not expect. You will find that Zucchini is under the Z’s since it is not commonly called a Zucchini Squash. For Soy look under Bean, Soy.
