Email Tips
Sending emails directly from Allergy Runner can be a major time saver.
If you are having trouble with the feature, try these tips.
In version 1.0 there is a mandatory field that you must complete on the Setup screen. It is labeled ‘Email From’ and it is important that you type in your full and valid return email address here. A typical format is jane.doe@mymailserver.com. The app doesn’t detect invalid or incomplete addresses but the email will not arrive as you might wish.
The default SMTP setting should work fine for most people. However if some folks are unable to receive your emails from the application, try specifying the SMTP server, user name and password for the account you typically use. This can be very useful when sending to people with AOL.com email addresses.
